Before we get to this journal's selection of artists, I'm going to plug hell-on-a-stick's new chapbook, 'Tough Bastard' It's a fine collection of his poems centered around previous poor choices and a look back at the road to realization. The title is meant to be ironic, in way saying that the walls we erect are just shields for weakness. He's lived quite a life, and writes in a manner that touches all facets of mind-state. You'll identify with his words, even if you have never been that far into the shadows.

We self-published at home, him editing and polishing the text, myself binding and trimming and type-setting. It's printed on really nice paper and has a pretty heavy cover.
