Finally, someone has explained the "occupy protest." And very well.

A great article by Marybeth Hicks.

Call it an occupational hazard, but I can't look at the Occupy Wall Street protesters (OWS) without thinking, "Who parented these people?"

As a culture columnist, I've commented on the social and political ramifications of the "movement" - now known as "OWS" - whose fairyland agenda can be summarized by
Coppers Pecan PieMomma Copper's Pecan Pie of Spicy Deelishushness

Ingredients:

2 eggs
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup honey
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 BUTTER softened
1 cup pecans (halves, bits, whatever...so long as they aren't sandy powder)
1 pie crust (frozen type....easy peasy)

1. Preheat le oven to 350F (175C)
2. Combine ALL THE THINGS except for the pecans and pie crust
3. Place the pecans on the bottom of the UNFILLED pie crust. You can make pictures or designs OR just toss them in there so they are pretty much evenly spaced.
