A better shot of this: [link]

Just a set of beads, styled after snake mythos. 10 unique accent beads, 1 large focal, and 12 spacers make up the set. I used black and some sort of jade/turquoise effetre glass. The focal bead is about 1/2" wide by 3/4" dia. All beads are kiln annealed and cleaned, and all are handmade by myself

Actually, I just checked because I want more and I think it's the petroleum green.

Ah yes, petroleum green - one of those colors that loves to "eat" other colors.

I lost some very nice orange stripes to that color.

Yes, "organic" settings on "organic"-shaped beads. :paranoid:

I tend to find that the term "organic" in lampwork usually means "I can't make any real shapes."

I meant the colors, absorbing, like in the watercolor methods.

I don't think anyone should be allowed to have more than a pick and a knife their first year of lampworking, too may people relying on molds and presses.

Agreed!

Right now I have one mold (lentil) and one press (square) which don't get much use. Almost all of my beads are made using just gravity and sometimes, a flat graphite marver and a tungsten pick.
