I've been geeking out on space ever since my daughter and I attended a MSL landing science sleepover (care of the NASA Glenn center). This is one of the results.

A FULL solar system, including the rejected planetoid Pluto, made completely from glass by myself in my studio. From the rings of Saturn, to the gouge on the surface of Mars, I have tried to capture the essence of each planet. Pluto is even a lop-sided mess of materials trapped in ice (clear glass).

I will be making these into an "out of the world" necklace which I may sell. I dunno...I might keep this one...it's sexy geeky awesome thus far.
