These are some sushi rolls I made. I used eel, salmon, crab, tempura shrimp, avocado, cucumber, green onion, and homemade spicy mayo as the filling. The rice is Nishiki with rice vinegar and mirin. All bundled up with nori seaweed.
Sushi isn't terribly hard to start making. Best part is that you can season your rice in different ways and use just about any filling you like. If you find yourself inspired, do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy your supplies at any grocery. Try to find an actual asian market or grocery. They will be infinitely cheaper than a commercial grocery.
